I’d like to think I’d wear
my member’s only badge like one of those 80’s jackets,
but it feels more like cashing in on that Beanie Babies™️ craze,
hundreds of plushies surrounding me,
clapping for me without much to show for it.
I’d sit and take my booster seat throne,
a meaningless grin plastered across my face.
